Procedure for Sending your Laptop or PC to us

1. Remove any discs & memory cards from your Laptop / PC. Please send your power lead with the Laptop / PC. The computer needs to be tested before it is sent back to you.
2. Wrap your Laptop / PC in bubble wrap.
   
3. Print off & fill in our repair form or insert a small note explaining your fault, any price you have been quoted along with your name, address and contact number.
   
4. Send the Laptop / PC to us (address below) but please remember responsibility is down to you so we recommend you send via Royal Mail special delivery which will insure your Laptop / PC up to £500 in the event of it being lost or damaged or alternatively we can arrange a collect and return service for £25 + vat (please call 01992 654 189 to book in your repair, this is non refundable)
   
5. When the Laptop / PC arrives it will be booked in and assigned to an engineer.
   
6. Your repair should be complete within 3 - 5 days. PLEASE NOTE: It maybe that in those 3 - 5 days we are unable to pin point the fault on your Laptop / PC or we do not have the parts needed in stock to repair so therefore more time will be needed to figure out the fault or to order the parts. There is still no charge for this but please be patient and someone will call you with an update. As you can understand we cannot keep every part for every Laptop / PC ever made in stock so although we carry thousands of parts there may be certain parts we need to order from the manufacturers, UK or abroad which may take a couple of extra days.
   
7. If for any reason your repair will cost more than the quote, we will call you first, we NEVER do any repairs without your consent. If the repair is unsuccessful there will be no charge for the time spent on the Laptop / PC however there will be a £10.00 + vat fee to return the Laptop / PC. If you have paid for the collect & return service the Laptop / PC will be returned to you free of charge as return postage would have been paid in advance.
   
8. When the repair is complete we will call you and take your credit / debit card payment and return your Laptop / PC via courier next day delivery. When the Laptop / PC arrives back to you and you're happy with the repair you log back on to this website (www.laptop-pcdoctor.co.uk) and leave your comments regarding your experience with our company.
